CUTTING APPARATUS FOR ONION FOLIAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting apparatus for onion foliage capable of securely cutting the foliage even if they are relatively short. SOLUTION: This cutting apparatus has a plurality of roller cutters 10 with a structure comprising axially transporting onion x in a cove between two rollers 11 and 12 almost in parallel and catching the foliage x1 of the onion x in followed by cutting them. The roller cutters 10 are axially arranged in series and in stepwise form lowering step by step to the transportation direction and the foliage x1 are downwardly cut when the onion x is transported from the upper roller cutter 10 to the lower roller cutter 10.
