PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the soil at the root part of a crop to be dropped precisely and smoothly without trouble in the midway of extraction and conveyance in a bean harvester for extracting the crop planted in a field with the root, and conveying the extracted crop. SOLUTION: This bean harvester has an extracting, nipping and conveying device 11, and a soil-scrapping device 50 arranged at the lower part of the site of an extracting and conveying route by the extracting, nipping and conveying device. The extracting, nipping and conveying device 11 uproots the crop W planted in the field by nipping the crop W by right and left nipping and conveying belts 13, and conveying the nipped crop W in the rear upper direction. The soil-scraping device 50 acts on the root part Wn of the conveyed crop W, and has a reciprocally moving soil-scraping tool 51 for scraping the soil by contacting with the root part Wn of the crop W from both right and left sides.
