PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher that crushes pruned branches or the like, classifying the crushed pruned branches or the like to pieces of uniform and constant size, and throws the pieces into a dumping area. SOLUTION: The crusher is an arrangement of a roller 9 for feeding pruned branches or the like, a rotary cutter 6, a screen 10 situated near the cutter 6, and a blower 7 situated below the screen 10 and receiving crushed pieces classified by the screen 10 and is provided with a chute that guides the crushed pieces to an area for heaping distant from the blower 7 by a specified distance so as to make it possible to adjust the direction of scattering of the pieces and to thereby throw them into the predetermined dumping area.
