The tool has two halves(12,14) which clamp an extension(20) of a one piece core(18). The extension is held by a guide pillar(22,24) when the tool is opened. A compression spring(28,30) is located in one of the tool halves and presses against this part and the core. An independent claim is made for use of the tool for injection molding of hollow products in ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA).
