PURPOSE: A cover-door assembly of a washing machine is provided for users to locate washing machine in various spaces by modifying the opening structure of a door from the vertical direction to the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION: A cover-door assembly of a washing machine includes a cover(20) of case top portion with an opening part for loading clothing and guide grooves(21) in the forward/backward direction on both inner side walls of the opening part, and a door(30) provided to the opening part of the cover with rail protrusions at both side surfaces to be slidably mounted in the guide grooves for opening or closing the opening part of the cover in the forward/backward direction.
