PURPOSE: A P2P(Peer-to-Peer) contents selling system on the Internet is provided to prevent copy and redistribution by charging to P2P contents exchange and encoding the shared contents, and to improve the reliability for the payment of contents use. CONSTITUTION: Each user installs a P2P software downloaded from a P2P software provider server(1) to user's computers(2,3) after membership authentication. After executing the P2P software, the user connects to the server(1) through the membership authentication. The user encodes the contents to sell, assigns a shared folder, and registers explanation and selling price for the contents. The user wanting to buy the contents in other computer sends a buying intention to the user having the contents by searching the contents from other user's computers. The buying user pays contents price by connecting to a billing server of a P2P software provider. The P2P software provider informs the selling user of the reception after confirming the reception. Then, the selling gives a download authority to the buying user.
