PURPOSE:To synchronize the operation of a peripheral equipment at a reception side with a received voice signal or the like in the scramble system having a system computer and a scrambler. CONSTITUTION:A scramble system is provided with a system computer 21 receiving subscriber information from an authorization center computer 1, and a scrambler 23 applying scramble processing to a video input signal VDIN and an audio input signal AUDIN in response to the control information from the system computer 21 and sending the result. The system computer 21 sends the signal to control the operation of the peripheral equipment at a reception side to the scrambler 23 so that the signal is inserted to a control data area of a BS format and sent from the scrambler 23 together with an audio signal. The scrambler 23 based on an instruction of the system computer 21 inserts a peripheral equipment control signal to the control data area in the same BS frame as that of the audio signal and outputs the result. The reception side receives the audio signal and the peripheral equipment control signal simultaneously. |
