摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overcharge by regulating the power of a generator based on the revolutions of an engine and the torque of the generator thereby operating the engine and the generator in the vicinity of the optimal value of generation efficiency or emission characteristics. SOLUTION: A power generation calculating section 1 calculates power generation of a generator based on a chargeable amount, and the like. An engine revolutions command and generator torque command calculating section 2 calculates the revolutions command of an engine and the torque command of the generator based on the power generation. An engine revolutions control section 3 controls driving of the engine according to the engine revolutions command. A generator torque control section 4 controls driving of the generator according to the generator torque command. Subsequently, an engine revolutions command value and a generator torque command value are calculated based on a detected value of chargeable amount and power is generated at an engine revolutions and a generator torque corresponding to the chargeable amount. According to the arrangement, the engine and the generator can be operated in the vicinity of the optimal value of generation efficiency or emission characteristics and overcharge can be prevented.
