PURPOSE: To obtain a measuring apparatus by which a change in measured data on a body temperature or the like according to an individual can be seen easily by a method wherein a display means changes the resolution in the longitudinal direction of a graphic display. CONSTITUTION: On the basis of a body-temperature detection signal from a thermistor 1, a CPU 2 computes measured data, and a graphic display is performed by an LCD 13. That is to say, when a power supply is turned on, the LCD 13 performs an initial display. When a measuring switch is turned on, a body temperature is measured, and a measured value as obtained measured data is displayed as a numerical display or the graphic display. When the resolution of a temperature axis (an axis of ordinates) must be changed over by hand in the processing operation of the graphic display, a switch is operated, and the resolution is changed over at intervals of 0.1 deg.C from 0.1 deg.C up to 0.25 deg.C. When it is not required to change over the resolution, whether the measured data exceeds a temperature display range or not is judged. When the data exceeds the range, a display unit is changed automatically from 0.1 deg.C up to 0.25 deg.C so as to be put into the display range. Alternatively, a display maximum value and a display minimum value are increased at intervals of 0.1 deg.C until (maximum display value) > (maximum value of the measured data), and the display range is changed automatically according to the maximum value of the measured data. |
