<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension/contraction margin in the side of advancing-in of a pipe joint for a propelling pipe when an earthquake occurs. SOLUTION: In the inside of a socket 13 formed in an end part of one pipe 11 connected to each other, a spigot 14 formed in an end part of the other pipe 12 is inserted, between a tip end face of the spigot 14 and a depth end face 18 of the socket 13, propelling force is transmitted. Between the tip end face of the spigot 14 and the depth end face 18 of the socket 13, a liner 30 capable of transmitting the propelling force between the socket/spigot is provided. The liner 30, having a main unit part 31 constituted in plural quantity along the peripheral direction and an elastic unit provided between the fellow adjacent main unit parts to be diametrically contracted by contracting deformation of this elastic unit, can be removed into the pipe from between the tip end face 28 of the spigot 14 and the depth end face 18 of the socket 13.</p> |
