Halogenated pref. fluorinated polyorganosiloxanes (POS) have the formula Ä(R<1>)a(Gf)b(E)pSiO1/2Ü-ÄR<2>GfSiO2/2Üz-ÄR<2>ESiO2/2 Üe-ÄHR<2>SiO2/2Üy1-Ä(R<2>)2-SiO2/2Üy-Ä(R<1>)a</S B>(Gf)b(E)p-SiO1/2Ü (I) and (II). In the formulae, (i) a + b + p = 3; a = 2, 3; b, p = 0, 1; z = 0- 200 (1-90); y1 = 0-10 (0-5); y = 0-50 (0-25); and e = 1-200 (1-90); with the conditions if z is not 0 then y + y1 + e =5-200 (10-100) and (z/(z + y + y1 + e + 2) x 100≥3 (pref.≥5); if z = 0 then y=y1 +e = 5-50 and b > 0 in at least one alkoxy group; if e > 0 then z + y1 + y + e = 5-200 (pref. 10-100) and (z/(z + y + y1 + e + 2)) x 100≥3 (pref.≥5); and if e = 0 then y + y1 + z = 5-100 and p > 0 in at least one group; (ii) z' = 1-9 (1-4.5); (iii) y1' = 0-0.5 (0.25); (iv) y' = 0-5 (0.5); (v) R1-2 = 1-12C (1-6C) aryl, aralkyl, alkylaryl (opt. branched); (vi) (Gf) = -(Z1)h-(Z2)g-Ä(Z3)j-RfÜk with h = 0.1;g = 0.1; j = 0.1; and k = 1 or 2; at least one Gf group is present in POS pref. 60% per mol.; Z1 = (CmH2m) with m≥2 and, if m = 2 then g > 0 in at least one Gf; Z2 = -W(-C(O)-)2, -CRa(-C(O)-)2, -W(OH)-, -ÄW-NH-COÜ-, -ÄW-C(O)-Ü-, -Si(R<6>)<, or gp. (x) or (y); Ra or R<6> = H or 1-6C alkyl; in each case, one free valency is attached to Rf and the other to hydroxyl or 1-6C alkoxy; W = cyclic or non-cyclic hydrocarbon radical pref. aliphatic, alkenyl or aromatic; Z3 = with n≥1, U = S, NH, NHSO, and pref. O; and Rf = -CqF2q-CF3, q≥0, or -CqF2q-H, q≥1, or -NRrfSO2CqF2q-CF3, q≥0, Rrf = H, aryl, 1-6C alkyl; or -NRrfSO2CqF2q-H, q≥1; and (vii) E is a monofunctional group chosen from e.g. amine alkoxyl, acyl, acyloxy, hydroxy, trialkoxysilyl, amide, ester, phenyl, arylalkoxy, aryloxy or ether-hydroxy. |
