TREAD RUBBER COMPOSITION INTRODUCED WITH URETHANE GROUP FOR SNOW TIRE

PURPOSE: A tread rubber composition introduced with an urethane group for a snow tire is provided, to improve the riding comfort and to reduce the noise on a normal road by employing an urethane-based initiator. CONSTITUTION: The tread rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a raw rubber comprising a natural rubber and a styrene-butadiene rubber; 10-20 parts by weight of a Marco azo initiator; and 0.1-1.5 parts by weight of a curing preventer. The source rubber comprises 50-80 wt% of a natural rubber and 20-50 wt% of a styrene-butadiene rubber. Preferably the Marco azo initiator is a polyol-derived polyurethane-based material having a molecular weight less than 2,000, and the curing preventer is benzotriazole.
