PURPOSE: Provided is a production process of flame retardant construction materials which recycles the wasted rice straw, corn stems, chaffs, nut husks or like so that it helps to reduce production cost. CONSTITUTION: The production process of the flame retardant construction materials is characterized by comprising the steps of: (i) treating plant fiber like the rice straw, the corn stems, the chaffs and the nut husks by a flame retardant agent and coating the plant fiber with the flame retardant agent; and (ii) mixing the plant fiber coated with the flame retardant agent with a binder, a foaming agent, a surfactant, a hardening catalyst and an additive, putting them to a mold and molding in a foamed state or molding without adding the foaming agent. |
