METHOD FOR PREVENTING AND TREATING GASTROINTESTINAL DISEASES IN NEONATAL CALVES

FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: the present method deals with prophylaxis and therapy of gastrointestinal diseases in neonatal calves with symptomocomplex of diarrhea, predominantly colibacteriosis and dyspepsia. Calves are introduced with antidiarrhin, ozonized colostrum at ozone concentration of 1.2-1.3 mg/l at the dosage of 1.5-2.0 l once daily with prophylactic purpose - for 3-5 d, with curative purpose - till clinical recovery. The method provides increased resistance in calves, shortened period of disease duration, exclusion of relapses and intensive growth and development of calves.
