FIELD: quantum radiophysics. SUBSTANCE: maser is essentially enclosed system that has gaseous ammonia vessel and spark gap, pipeline with pump for feeding ammonia to cavity and pump for discharging spent ammonia from cavity and delivering it to vessel. Cavity is made in the form of stepping cone. Cooler and heater are built in system. Components designed to take off quantizing energy of ammonia molecules are connected to amplifiers.
