FIELD: rolling process; rollers for heating-furnace roll-tables. SUBSTANCE: roller has at least one disk joined through its inner cylindrical surface with outer cylindrical surface of cooled barrel and attached thereto. Disk is built of five rings. Cylindrical drillings accommodating two intermediate rings are made on ends of external ring whose outer cylindrical surface has its center line aligned with that of outer cylindrical surface of barrel, at least one drilling accommodating intermediate ring being eccentric relative to center line of outer cylindrical surface of external ring; inner cylindrical surfaces of two internal rings are joined with outer cylindrical surface of barrel and secured thereto; outer surface of each internal ring has cylindrical drilling joined with inner cylindrical surface of respective intermediate ring, drilling on at least one internal ring being eccentric relative to inner cylindrical surface of internal ring. Roller barrel surface is covered with heat-insulating material and inner spaces of disks are also filled with heat- insulating material. EFFECT: enhanced strength of metal disks, extended life of roller and roll-table as a whole; reduced heat loss and fuel consumption. 3 cl, 1 dwg |
