FIELD: production of pyroxylen powders for small arms cartridges from out-of-date pyroxylen powders. SUBSTANCE: in correspondence with invention proposed technology processing pyroxylen powers for small arms includes preparation of powder crumbs by mechanical comminution of powders in aqueous medium to fragment size 0.8-2.2 mm first and to fragment size 0.2-0.7 mm afterwards, squeezing water out of powder crumbs, preliminary drying of powder mass to humidity 2-15%, rolling of powder crumbs to plates 0.05-0.18 mm thick at temperature of rollers 15-55 C, fractionation, final drying to humidity 0.8-10.0 % and averaging of physical-chemical characteristics by mixing. EFFECT: development of technology processing out-of-date pyroxylen powders to high-quality fine-web powders with preset thickness of burning web for production of cartridges for small arms. 2 tbl
