FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: process of development of gas field includes reduction of formation pressure in gas field to value of throwing pressure of effective operation of compressor stations. Under conditions of elastic water drive of gas field it is run at completion stage under broken mode. To achieve it all production wells are stopped for period necessary for compensation of loss of formation pressure. Formation pressure is raised to value exceeding throwing pressure thanks to continued entry of stratal water into gas field. EFFECT: increased gas recovery from gas field. 1 tbl
