FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: color paste contains pigment, polyvinyl acetate emulsion, thermosetting resin precondensate, ammonium chloride, and starch-based thickener treated with formulation containing dicarboxylic acid with number of methylene groups from 0 to 4, boric acid or sodium tetraborate, and sulfate or chloride of metal selected from manganese, magnesium, zinc, and iron(II). EFFECT: simplified preparation technology due to reduced amount of pigment and binding component and reduced expenses due to using less expensive thickener than commonly used methylcellulose-based thickener. 1 tbl, 8 ex
