PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for use in an ink-jet printing method comprising forming a colored image through overlapping at least two water-based inks differing in hue from each other, giving the clear colored image of high resolution in high-speed printing without bleeding at the boundary between the two colors. SOLUTION: This ink set is to be used in the ink-jet printing method comprising forming a colored image through overlapping at least two water-based inks A and B differing in hue from each other; wherein the ink A contains an anionic group-incorporated coloring material A, while the ink B contains a coloring material B and a quaternary ammonium salt having a <=6C alkyl group incorporated with at least one hydroxy group. |
