PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of yielding an excellent image over a long term by restraining the deterioration of developer while realizing the miniaturization of an image forming device at a low cost, and the image forming device equipped with the developing device. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with an electrifying brush roller 8 disposed in contact with a developing roller 1 and a photoreceptor drum 11 and capable of electrifying the drum 11 before developing to specified potential, and a power source 14 applying specified voltage between the roller 8 and the roller 1 and the drum 11. The roller 8 is positioned on a downstream side from its contact part with the drum 11 in the rotating direction of the roller 1 and on an upstream side from the contact part in the rotating direction of the drum 11. The power source 14 applies specified voltage so that the roller 8 may remove the toner on the drum 11 while electrifying the drum 11 before developing to the specified potential and also remove the toner from the roller 1 after developing. |
