PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem with a conventional electronic document edit and display system that an electronic document edit and display system capable of assuring the originality of an electronic document and correcting, adding, and controllably displaying for each element without multiplying the document is not provided. SOLUTION: In this system displaying electronic documents, an original portion and a definition portion are analyzed when the electronic document is read, and the elements of the original portion are controlled according to the control information of corresponding tags of the definition portion and displayed. The control information includes those information on the possibility of display, possibility of correction, possibility of addition, presence or absence of correction, and presence or absence of addition. These possibilities are controlled corresponding to a user right such that 'level A is acceptable' but 'level B is rejected'. |
