<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CT (computerized tomography) apparatus equipped with a shield for attenuating primary scattered light generated hitherto without generating new primary scattered light. SOLUTION: This X-ray CT device is characterized by having a radiation source for irradiating a subject with a radiation, a first collimator having a through hole for passing the radiation toward a desired range, a fixing means for mounting and fixing the subject, a second collimator having plural penetrating holes for passing the radiation passing through the subject, radiation detectors arranged oppositely to the penetrating holes respectively, for detecting the radiation passing through the penetrating holes, a tomogram reconstitution means for reconstituting a tomogram relative to one cross section of the subject by using each signal acquired from the detectors, and the shield installed on the subject side of the penetrating hole of the first collimator, for shielding at least a part of a first region on the outside of a straight line connecting the radiation source and the outermost end on the subject side of the first collimator.</p> |
