ANTI-DANDRUFF COMPOSITION AND COSMETIC CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-dandruff composition which can specifically act on only dandruff-causing bacteria to inhibit the proliferation of the bacteria without stimulating hair root portions, thereby enabling the effective prevention of the dandruff, and to provide a cosmetic containing the same. SOLUTION: This anti-dandruff composition is characterized by containing as an active ingredient an antibody which is prepared from eggs laid from hens immunized as an antigen with the cells of the genus Malassezia and/or with a protein extracted from the cells. The anti-dandruff composition preferably further contains aγ-aminobutyric acid and/or its derivative.
