PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container in which liquid discharging through its opening port is promoted. SOLUTION: This liquid container is comprised of a liquid container and a gas passage. The container has a small port on which a lid can be applied. The gas passage is formed such that its one end is communicated with surrounding atmosphere near the port of the container and becomes only a surrounding atmosphere taking-in port under its condition because the gas in an upper space in the container and the surrounding atmosphere are always assured under a condition in which the port is closed by liquid and the communication between the gas in the upper space and the surrounding atmosphere is temporarily insulated when the liquid is flowed out of the container. When a lid is applied to the port, the entire passage is placed in a space closed by the lid of the container and there is no means for closing the aforesaid one end.
