PURPOSE: A position information detecting method using bluetooth terminal is provided to detect position information by performing a local communication with a bluetooth-embedded device without a separate GPS receiver. CONSTITUTION: A position information detecting method comprises requesting GPS topographical information using a bluetooth terminal when switched into a GPS receipt mode(SP1), receiving the GPS topographical information from an adjacent bluetooth service base station(SP2), requesting GPS position information using the bluetooth terminal(SP3), and receiving the GPS position information from the adjacent bluetooth service base station(SP4). |
