PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve scanning of a photothermographic film without removing silver halide and/or metallic silver or by partly removing those. SOLUTION: A photosensitive color photothermographic imaging element is provided which contains at least one pyrrolotriazole coupler reactively combined with a developing agent or a developing agent precursor which releases the developing agent, wherein the pyrrolotriazole coupler and the developing agent have characteristics capable of forming an infrared dye having >700 nm ofλmax.
