PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain hunting in heating-cooling control, and to prolong a service life of a valve, a fan or the like of a cooler. SOLUTION: This temperature regulator provided with a PID computing means 3 for computaion-outputting a heating control input MVh based on a deviation between a set temperature SP and a detected temperature PV from a control object 2 is delay means 5 for compensating a difference between an ineffective time for heating and an ineffective time for cooling, the heating control input MVh is multiplied by a cooling coefficient, it is thereafter delayed by the delay means 5 to be outputted as a cooling control input MVc, the ineffective times for the heating and the cooling are conformed to improve instability for the heating-cooling control, so as to suppress generation of the hunting.
