PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight-measuring instrument, weight-measuring facilities, and an automatic measuring apparatus for animals. SOLUTION: The weight-measuring instrument 2 comprises a load sensor 5, a measurement stand 6 having a specific size according to a target animal while being mounted horizontally to the upper section, side fences 7 and 8 that are arranged nearly vertical to the left and right ends of the measurement stand and have specific height and depth according to the target animal, and a front end fence 9 that is installed at the front end side of the measurement stand and is lower than the side fence. Then, the rear end between side fences is open. In the measurement facilities, at least one weight-measuring instrument 2 is arranged annularly or in a side row shape, a food-supplying apparatus 11 is arranged near the front of the front end fence 9, and at the same time a barrier member 3 for preventing entry to the side of the food-supplying apparatus 11 is arranged outside the side fences 7 and 8. The automatic measuring apparatus 20 comprises the weight-measuring instrument 2, a cable 17 for transmitting the sensor signal, and a data collection processing apparatus 18.
