PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing performance inspection method for synthetic resin transparent containers which enables rapid and precise confirmation, in a cooling process by simple operation procedures, of the phenomenon of cooling water being sucked into a transparent container made from synthetic resin, in addition does not require cleaning of filling facilities after inspection, and is excellent in workability. SOLUTION: One of compounds which perform coloration reaction is put in a transparent container made from synthetic resin. Next, this container is filled with a liquid content and the compound is dissolved and sealed closely. After this container filled with the liquid content is cooled subsequently with cooling water containing the other compound, whether or not the liquid content colors is inspected, and sucking of the cooling water into the container is detected. Thus the sealing performance inspection method for transparent containers made from synthetic resin is obtained.
