PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified bottom assembling type cardboard box capable of being rigidly assembled at its bottom without having any clearance and capable of being efficiently manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: There is provided a simplified bottom assembling box of cardboard in which a bottom side plate 4 is extended from a lower edge of a side wall 1 and a bottom end plate 5 is extended from a lower edge of an end wall 2, respectively. Insertion pieces 8 arranged at both side edges of the extremity end of the bottom side plate 4 are inserted into V-shaped insertion boles 9 arranged at the bottom end plate 5 to close the bottom surface. A score (a) perpendicular to a step is set by a scoring unit, a crease (b) in parallel with a step is set by a creaser, respectively. A groove (c) is cut by a slot-making machine, it is punched out by a partial die to form the insertion pieces 8 and insertion holes 9. When this punching-out operation is carried out, a pair of hole covering pieces 10 connected to the end edges of the insertion holes 9 are arranged at the insertion holes without dropping the inside portions of the insertion holes 9.
