PURPOSE: A sorting system is provided to reduce the expenses of the entire sorting system with simple structure, to handle plural sorted articles conveniently by using a single sorting conveyor, and to replace the belt conveniently and quickly in the sorting system. CONSTITUTION: A sorting conveyor(31) is composed of a plurality of front wheels(52A,52B) and rear wheels(57A,57B) each extending in a transverse direction(W), and a plurality of endless turning bodies(58A,58B) wound between the wheels respectively. Each pair of wheels is arranged opposite each other in a longitudinal direction(V). A receipt section is provided with turning force applying units(81A,81B) for turning target endless turning bodies of the target sorting conveyor. The structure allows one sorting conveyor to handle a plurality of sorted articles and provides the sorting equipment which is constituted simply and inexpensively on the whole. The belt of the sorting system is replaced quickly and easily with simple structure at low cost.
