PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a development period for a combined device having a printer function, a copying function, a facsimile function and the like, to restrain a development cost therefor, to disperse a load on a system, and to enhance a printing speed. SOLUTION: This combined device control method having at least a printer 6, a controller board 3 for controlling the whole system, a network interface board 1 connected to a network to transmit and receive a packet, and a PDL board 2 for processing a printer language has a packet analyzing process S13 for analyzing a content of the packet input via a network connection means, the first transfer process S16 for transferring the packet to a printer language processing means when the packet analyzed by the packet analyzing means is a printing data, and the second transfer means S15 for transferring the packet to a control means when the packet analyzed by the packet analyzing means is other than the printing data. |
