PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a traffic increase in a parallel path Pb due to RGB, YMCK transfer between a copying machine function group and an extended function group of a color machine, avoid image deterioration in transfer through the bus Pb and improve the utilization of images among the copying machine function group, the extended function group and an external device. SOLUTION: The color copying machine with composite functions includes; a scanner SCR, an image processing unit IPP for converting sRGB (Standard RGB) image data into YMCK image data, a color printer PTR, the bus Pb, a bus management unit CDIC for applying reversible compression to the sRGB image data, transmitting the processed data to the Pb, expanding the YMCK data subjected to reversible compression and outputting the processed data to a color printer PTR, a memory MEM, and a memory management unit IMAC for controlling information reading/writing from the external device to/from the MEM, and the color copying machine is characterized in that it connects the IPP and the Pb to the IMAC, and the IMAC controls write of the sRGB data subjected to reversible compression sent from the CDIC to the Pb to the MEM, expansion of the sRGB data read from the MEM, transfer of the data to the IPP, reversible compression of the YMCK outputted from the IPP and transfer of the resulting data to the Pb. |
