PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical memory of which an incident end plane of reproduction light and a light-emitting surface of scattered light of an optical memory element can be protected so that dirt and dust are not attached. SOLUTION: This element comprises core layers and clad layers laminated on both surfaces of the core layers, has one or a plurality of light guide members having a uneven part for information at least one side of boundary of the core layer and the clad layer, an incident end plane for guiding reproduction light to the core layer is formed, the reproduction light made incident from the incident end plane is guided to the core layer and scattered by the uneven part for information, scattered light is emitted to the outside from the surface, and reproduction image is obtained. At least, the element is provided with an antistatic layer at the incident end plane and/or a light-emitting surface of the scattered light of the reproduction light. |
