ELECTRO-CONTROLLED INJECTION TYPE ENGINE SYSTEM FOR MOTORCYCLE

PURPOSE: An electro-controlled injection type engine system is provided to achieve improved engine performance and prevent waste of fuel, while lengthening lifespan of the engine and preventing air contamination. CONSTITUTION: An electro-controlled injection type engine system comprises an injector(3) arranged in rear of a throttle valve(2) of an intake pipe(1); a flow sensor(4) arranged in front of the throttle valve so as to detect the amount of intake air; a temperature sensor(6) mounted on a cylinder block(5) so as to detect temperature of an engine; an encoder(8) mounted on an end of a crank shaft so as to detect position of a piston(7) and RPM; an oxygen sensor(9) mounted within an exhaust pipe so as to detect the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gas; and an electronic control unit(10) for performing an arithmetic operation on the values output from the flow sensor, encoder and the oxygen sensor, and controlling fuel amount and ignition timing in accordance with the result of the arithmetic operation.
