PURPOSE: An automatic call forwarding method using proximity type communication and a device therefor are provided to set or release incoming for a proximity type wireless terminal to a call forwarding connection unit in a shadow area, using an incoming only connection unit. CONSTITUTION: If a proximity type wireless terminal transmits a call forwarding request signal to a proximity type communication module of a call forwarding connection unit(600), the proximity type communication module transmits the receiving of the call forwarding request signal to a control module(605). The control module transmits a transmission command to the proximity type communication module an additional information request signal to the proximity type wireless terminal(610). If the proximity type communication module transmits a wireless terminal information request signal to the proximity type wireless terminal(615), the proximity type wireless terminal transmits an MIN(Mobile Identification Number) and an ESN(Electric Serial Number) to the proximity type communication module(620). The control module receives the wireless terminal information(625), and extracts wired phone information in a memory(630). The control module generates a call forwarding request signal by using a signal of the wireless terminal information and the extracted wired phone information(635), and transmits the generated call forwarding request signal information to a wired phone module(640). The wired phone module generates an incoming request signal(645), and transmits the generated incoming request signal to an automatic incoming server(650).
