SOLUTION: This desulfurization method and this desulfurization equipment are to generate a fermentation gas in a methane fermentation tank 14, introduce the fermentation gas into a biological desulfurization tank 16, while introduce a digestion liquid of the methane fermentation tank 14 into the biological desulfurization tank 16 by dewatering with a dewaterer 20, put a carrier on which sulfur bacteria are immobilized and desulfurize the fermentation gas by bringing the carrier into contact with the fermentation gas.
