MULTILAYER SYSTEM HAVING OPTICAL PROPERTY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multilayer system having high hiding power, high color intensity and/or color of high luminance, angle dependence of interference color and optical properties based on a metallic substrate. SOLUTION: This multilayer system is composed of a metallic substrate as a base and a plurality of layers (A) and (B). The layer (A) comprises at least two dielectric materials of different refractive indexes in which the refractive index at the lower side and the refractive index at the upper side of the layer are different. The layer (B) is a selectively or non-selectively absorbent layer.
