SOLUTION: In the hinge device with a first member 1 and a second member 2 turnably and pivotably attached thereto, an outer shape of a fitting connection part 4 to be inserted in a fitting hole part 3 formed in any one of the first member 1 and the second member 2 in a locking condition is not circular in section, but substantially regular-polygonal.
