PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely release the locked state of the entrance of a building without notifying a plurality of persons of a password. SOLUTION: In this locking system, the entrance 300 of an apartment is unlocked under various conditions such as the matching of a key hole 510. The system comprises a connection start means 110 for starting a communication state when receiving a communication request signal through a phone line 400 and a determination means 120 for determining the consistency of the password received in the communication state. When the consistency of the password is recognized, an unlocking request signal is transmitted. Thus the entrance 300 can be unlocked even from a remote place without notifying outsiders of the password.
