PURPOSE: A polymer electrolyte composition for a lithium ion polymer battery, a lithium battery employing the composition and its preparation method are provided, to improve the phase stability for enhancing the electric properties of a lithium ion polymer battery. CONSTITUTION: The polymer electrolyte composition comprises a polymer blend comprising a polymer resin for forming matrix, and a poly(methyl methacrylate-ethyl methacrylate) copolymer in the ratio of 99:1 to 40:60 by weight; optionally an inorganic filler, a plasticizer, and/or a solvent. Preferably the polymer resin for forming matrix is a vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer, a polyvinylidene fluoride, a polyacrylonitrile or their mixtures; the inorganic solvent is silica, kaolin or alumina; the plasticizer is an ethylene glycol derivative, its oligomer or an organic carbonate-based material; and the solvent is acetone, dimethyl formamide or cyclohexanone. |
