PURPOSE: A circuit for controlling screen voltage is provided to adjust the screen voltage without adapting a semiconductor element for high voltage, and prevent influence by changes in a display mode or beam current. CONSTITUTION: A rectifying part(104) receives power source through one end of a second coil(L2) of a flyback transformer(102) for rectifying the power source. A resistance(R2) is connected between the other end of the second coil and a ground. A screen voltage adjusting part(106) receives screen voltage generated by adding output voltage of the rectifier and voltage applied to the resistance, so that the screen voltage adjusting part generates a difference between the screen voltage and reference voltage, and provides current corresponding to the different to the resistance for varying the voltage applied to the resistance.
