The regulator has parallel connected secondary heat exchangers (42,44), in a secondary heat exchange circuit (38), connected to vehicle heat generating sources. A principal circuit (14) includes branches (30,32) to which are connected evaporators (26,28). Each branch includes a trigger valve (34,36) in front of evaporators (26,28). The automobile thermal regulator is of the type including a heat pump (12). A principal cooling circuit (14) is connected to a cold source (16) so as to transfer cooling fluid to a hot source (18). The cold source includes a liquid/air heat exchanger (26) called 'first evaporator'. The cold source includes a liquid/liquid heat exchanger (28) called 'second evaporator', thermally coupling the principal cooling circuit to a secondary circuit (38) that can be connected to at least a secondary heat exchanger (42,44) collecting heat from the vehicles heat generating sources. The first and second evaporators (26,28) are connected in parallel.
