<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming die for glass and a press forming machine which liberates air between a glass gob supplied into the bottom die of the forming die for glass and an inner bottom part of the bottom die, suppresses the generation of pressing wrinkles and air accumulation, or the like, in a forming process of pressing with a movable die and, thereby, reduces the defective forming. SOLUTION: The bottom die 6 having a recessed part 23 of the forming die 8 for glass used for press forming of glass is provided with an aperture 26 for air bleed opened to the inner bottom part, a hollow part 32 communicating with the aperture 26 via a communicating hole 27 and a communicating member 33 which communicates the hollow part 32 with the outer part of the bottom die 6. Further, the press forming machine has a vacuum apparatus and the air between the glass gob supplied into the bottom die 6 and the inner bottom part of the bottom die is evacuated through the hollow part 32 and the aperture 26 and is removed by the vacuum apparatus on the press forming.</p> |
