PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof material capable of surely preventing the staying of moisture in an eaves tip while keeping high strength without making the roof material in a complicated shape. SOLUTION: This roof material comprises a groove part formed on the surface side so that rainwater runs into the bottom from the circumference in a laid state, falls down by the inclination of the bottom, and drains from the eaves tip side. The surface of the eaves edge-side end part of the bottom is cut out to have a gradient sharper than the other part.
