PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain plug device with improved workability in installation or the like, easy maintenance, and driving parts hardly broken in transportation or construction. SOLUTION: The drain plug device is provided with a plug part 4 opening and closing a drain hole 11 of a bathtub bottom 2a, power transmission parts 5 and 15 operating the plug part 4, the driving parts 6 and 22 manually or electrically driving the power transmission parts, and manual operating parts 23 and 26 for manually operating the driving parts 6 and 22. The manual operating part 26 is fixed to an operating part attaching face 2b by a fixing member 33 such as a nut. A driving part housing case 18 housing the driving parts is detachably attached to the manual operating part 26 in a rear side space of the operating part attaching face 2b.
