PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intranuclear signal transduction protein participating to control keratinocyte differentiation induced by calcium, wherein the function of the protein is applicable to various clinical applications. SOLUTION: The keratinization can be controlled by controlling keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation through keratinocyte differentiation controlling signal transfer factor and its physiologic function. An intranuclear protein functioning to signal transduction, its antibody and ligand are provided and, using these items, an examination and diagnostic medicine for skin disorder and disease and a prophylactic and therapeutic medicine are provided.
