PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiarrhythmic agent comprising an extract from Leonurus heterophyllus Sweet or β-sitostenone having antiarrhythmic actions, in which the β-sitostenone is readily obtained by separation from the Leonurus heterophyllus Sweet or can be produced from a readily available raw material by organic synthesis at a low cost in a relatively high yield. SOLUTION: This antiarrhythmic agent comprises the extract from the Leonurus heterophyllus Sweet, preferably an acetone extract or the β-sitostenone or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient. |
