PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image forming device constituted to improve a void level in a state where the linear velocity of a transfer roller or the like is left as it is and prevent side reaction on ordinary recording paper. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with an electrifying means 2 for electrifying an image carrier 1, a latent image forming means 3 for forming an electrostatic latent image on the electrified image carrier 1, a developing means 5 for developing the latent image on the image carrier 1 with toner and obtaining a developed image, and a transfer means 6 for transferring a toner image to recording material while abutting on the image carrier 1, and the transfer means 6 is formed of an elastic body layer and a core bar. The device is constituted to change at least bias applied to the electrifying means 2 in accordance with the recording material. Thus, even in the case of using the special recording paper, the bias for measures against void in accordance with the special recording paper is set, and the side reaction on the ordinary regular size recording paper is prevented. |
